This orange creamsicle smoothie is a nutritionally packed full meal blended up into a convenient drinkable shake! Even though its packed with micronutrient dense ingredients, it tastes like a delicious orange creamsicle ice cream bar!
Orange plus orange zest combined with mango sweetens this smoothie naturally and gives it a tropical vibe. Nuts like walnuts and hemp seeds add healthy high omega 3 fats and creaminess. Vanilla protein powder adds additional sweetness and vanilla flavor which pairs deliciously with orange. Plus the protein powder makes this a more complete balanced meal- I use my favorite brand Wellious for best flavor, texture and clean ingredients.

SMOOTHIE MEAL PREP
I made this recipe in my YouTube video meal prepping smoothies using freezer silicone molds. The result worked out amazingly! I multiplied this recipe times 4, blended it up then transferred the mixture to silicone ice cube trays. When they were frozen I popped out the cubes and stored them in individual bags portioned out to make 1 serving each. To re make the smoothie when youre ready to drink it you can either put the cubes back into the blender with 1 cup of soy or almond milk to blend it up again, OR you can transfer the cubes to a cup and wait for them to defrost. Its so convenient on super busy days when you need some good nutrition on the go!

After freezing, pop out the smoothie cubes into individually portioned out bags, giving you ready made nutritous meal prepped smoothies for busy days!

Silicone ice cube trays for meal prep- these ones worked out great for me. Each tray holds about 1 smoothie serving, so I would buy multiple if you plan on using these for meal prep.

Highly recommend using this protein powder in this recipe. It has a delicious vanilla flavor, sweetened with real monk fruit for added sweetness without any sugar or stevia aftertaste, and its made with clean simple ingredients. Even better it has a smooth texture- no grittyness!
