The most delicious, sweet, spicy and ginger-y peanut sauce sweetened with natural dates! Perfect for salads or as a dipping sauce for spring rolls. Dates are a whole- food, fiber- rich sweetener and when blended up add a smooth texture to the dressing. Coconut aminos adds extra sweetness as well as salty flavor. Rice vinegar adds tang and ginger and garlic add extra flavor! Combined all together the flavor of this sauce is perfectly balanced!

Ingredients For Peanut Sauce- Date Sweetened

pitted medjool dates

natural peanut butter

coconut aminos, liquid aminos or soy sauce

rice vinegar or ACV

garlic powder

ginger powder

red pepper flakes

water to blend

Simply blend up all of the ingredients together in a high powered blender until smooth! Taste and adjust the seasonings to your liking, add more red pepper flakes, ginger, garlic or aminos if desired. Serve right away on salads, noodle bowls or with fresh rice paper rolls. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days in an air tight container.

How To Make Peanut Noodle Salad:

To make an easy and delicious peanut noodle salad to go with this peanut sauce simply combine-

1/2 white cabbage shredded plus 1/4 red cabbage shredded

3 julienned carrots

1/2 package of edamame noodles, cooked according to instructions on the box

4 green onions thinly sliced

handful of cilantro chopped

Mix everything together in a large mixing bowl and toss to combine

Ingredients
  

  • 5 pitted medjool dates
  • 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut or liquid aminos sub 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional, to make it spicy
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

Equipment

  • High powered blender

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust the garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes or salt to your preference.
