- Blend up all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth. Serve right away or freeze in silicone ice cube tray for smoothie prep.
Notes
For more orange flavor, use 2 oranges instead of one and 2 tbsp of orange zest. When using orange zest its best to use organic oranges.
For smoothie meal prep- times all ingredients (EXCEPT ICE) in this recipe by 4, pour into silicone ice cube tray and freeze overnight. To remake smoothie- re blend the smoothie cubes with 1 cup of soy or almond milk.
Greens are optional for extra nutrition, but they will turn the smoothie green instead of orange! I recommend using baby bok choy leaves or romaine lettuce for mild flavor.
