Easy OIL FREE, DAIRY FREE, NO BLENDER everyday salad dressing!
I like to make my own no oil- nut based salad dressings but it can be a pain to take out the blender and have to clean it afterwards. This everyday dressing is great because you can shake it up right in a mason jar and store it in the fridge in the same container!
This everyday dressing has a garlicky savory taste with a hint of lemon and dijon. This recipe is written as using raw almond butter but you can sub any nut butter like tahini or cashew butter. The nut butter is what makes this dressing super easy to shake up, when you mix nut butter with water it turns into a thick cream- no blender required.
Ingredients YOU WILL NEED
- 1/3 cup raw almond butter or tahini, or cashew butter
- 1/3 cup water– more or less to get the thickness you prefer
- 1 lemon juiced– about 2 tbsp
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 tbsp coconut aminos– adds a hint of sweetness and saltyness, adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a jar, put on the lid and shake until combined. Refrigerate overnight before serving for best results.
