1 cup plain unsweetened plant milkI use TJ's soy milk
1lemon juiced
1packageFrench onion dip mixI use the brand Simply Organic
1tspTrader Joe's Onion Salt (optional)
Instructions
1. In a high powered blender such as a Vitamix add in the cashews, soy milk and lemon juice. Blend for a couple minutes until completely smooth. If it gets too thick splash in more milk to get it to blend better.
2. Pour blender contents into a mixing bowl. Stir in the French onion dip packet seasoning and additional onion salt if using. Place in fridge and let chill for one hour before serving.
3. Pour dip into serving bowl. Serve with ridged potato chips, cucumber slices, and/or carrot slices.
Notes
If not using a high powered blender, soak cashews overnight in water or for a couple hours to soften them. A Nutribullet or food processor will also work. You can also sub raw sunflower seeds for cashews.
